Death From Above 1979 - Blood On Our Hands
I first found these guys almost 4 years ago now but I only like them more as time goes on. They only really came out with one album before they broke up,”Your a Woman,I’m a Machine”, FUCKING AMAZING. It really is. They’re just bass and drums and the drummer sings but its some of the most powerful music I’ve ever heard. They actually got back together at the end of last year and their gonna do some shows pretty soon. Unfortunately they live in Canada, which is about 3000 miles away from me………
What I would give to see these guys live.

Listening to their album “Dare and Love and Dancing” as I type this. Really cool music but so strange. The 80’s were such weird times.

The Killers - Sweet Talk
I remember when the Killers use to be good. Before they all went solo. Before Brandon Flowers decided he was super mormon and that he wanted to express his mormon Ideals through his music. Before they forgot how to make interesting music. Sigh. They really are terrible now.
Don’t let that ruin their early stuff though. Their first three albums are gold and even the fourth one Day and Age has some really good tracks on it.
This is off of their third album, “SawDust”, which was actually a collection B-sides but I think its probably their best. I would seriously suggest giving that album a chance before you totally dismiss the Killers forever.
If your into hardcore punk you should definitely check out career suicide. They have a really classic sound but its still their own thing. Really good stuff.
I’ve always thought In Utero was such a better album than Nevermind. Its melodic stuff is more interesting, its heavier stuff is more powerful, and the whole thing has always just seemed a lot more sincere to me. Definitely my favorite by Nirvana. Too bad not as many people listen to it.
Agent Orange - Too Young To Die
The Whole Living in Darkness LP is some of the best in melodic hardcore in my opinion.
Huskur Du - Beyond The Threshold
Huskur Du do this insane punk thing, and they do it really well. Seems more introspecitve than a lot of hardcore bands. I’ve been getting into them more lately. A little hard to take in sometimes but its really cool stuff.
The more punk side of the Horrors. This one is off their first album strange house which seems like a really solid album but for some reason I’ve never been able to get into. Regardless this song is pretty sweet. I kinda wish it was heavier though.
